  1. Acts 24:16 Is so to the point! It’s easy to memorize and constantly remember throughout the day! The only way to keeps your conscience clear before God and man, is to allow the Holy Spirit to move and work in every aspect of our lives!

That is a good one! When we try to be in control of an aspect of our life and not allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we inevitably begin focusing on our own desires and that leads to a guilty conscience. Thank you for reading and commenting! God bless!

  2. Daily reading is a great tool for drawing near to God. Oh so true on when we choose to ignore and then the guilty does weigh down. I love the lightness of choosing right, but then we are human and there are times, but Thank God that he helps even in those times.

Thank God indeed! We are so blessed that we have a merciful Father who loves us no matter our decisions and choices! Thank you for stopping by and commenting! God bless!

  3. Peter is my favorite disciple to speak on this topic because he was tested so dearly at the crucifixion. I believe he really does know what it means to stand by your conscience NO MATTER what the world might tell you.

You’re right! My pastor’s sermon yesterday was about being unapologetic Christians. I find that so relevant to keeping a clear conscience and not conforming to the world’s standards. Thank you for reading and commenting! God bless!

  4. “Continually choosing immoral and negative paths causes a person to eventually alter their view of whether it is right or wrong.” That’s it! This is exactly why it’s so important to not allow ungodly things into our hearts and minds through what we hear and what we see. If we fill our hearts and minds with ungodly things, it will also alter our view of right and wrong. Great words today, Melissa.

Thank you for the kind words! You are so right, we need to surround ourselves with Godly things so that when we encounter ungodly ideas, images, and people we have our firm and strong foundation. Thank you for reading and commenting! God bless!
