  1. Read altogether, those verses are a soothing balm on a weary soul! It is always a great reminder to look to our kids for childlike faith and lessons. Thanks for that reminder! Beautiful post!

Thank you so much for your kind words. It is so true, I have learned so much about life, trust, and faith from watching my children. Thank you for reading and commenting! God Bless!

  2. Very powerful post.

It really resonated with my soul.

God is our Heavenly Father and until we put all our trusts and faith in him, it would be difficult to establish a bond.

Your analogy of your kids was amazing. Really gave me something to meditate on.

And then the scriptures to read – reflect on.

May God continue to guide and shower you with his favour, mercy and love.

    Be blessed.

Thank you for your kind words and I’m glad that the post gave you a new or different perspective to ponder. We place our faith in so many things without truly recognizing what that means. Thank you for reading and commenting! God Bless!

  3. Oh the Lamentations verse. People always think of Lamentations as the “sad” book of the Bible…but there is so much hope there! Thank you for sharing with me today. We all need to keep painting the picture of faith so it stays vivid.

I’m so glad you picked out that one. I love these verses because I feel like they are all too relevant to today. It can become easy to be consumed by all of the “meanness” that you spoke of in your post today but we have a way out. Thank you for reading and commenting! God Bless!

  4. Thanks for sharing that verse from Jeremiah. I’m reading through that book, and right now am mired in the sadness of disobedience and waywardness that Jeremiah had to address. It’s so good to know that there are words of praise and worship on their way!
